BOUDOIR AT IT'S BEST

For years Boudoir photography has been hugely popular in the US and now it seems us Brits just can't get enough of it either. A strictly women only territory, female photographers are setting up studios styled as bedrooms all over the country, with the most decadent of surroundings - think Pastel Velvets and French furniture. Tacky this is not. Women are choosing to bare all (remember Samantha's naked shoot in Sex and The City?) or dress in fabulous lingerie or loungewear. Designed to capture you at you very best and boost confidence, take these images to the grave with you as proof of how fabulous you once looked when everything has gone slightly south.

Bridal Boudoir is on the increase and what better way to extend your bridal experience even further by indulging in a delicious photo shoot when you are looking your very best - no doubt you will have been plucked, preened and dusted with a honey glow in preparation for your big day. Of course, another excuse to shop can't hurt. We get approached all the time by women who are looking for something special for their Bridal Boudoir / Getting Ready photo shoot.

Which brings me on nicely to What Lies Beneath - an aspirational shoot created by wedding Photographer Fiona Kelly and Louise Beukes, a stylist and wedding planner at B.Loved. They approached Ell & Cee to provide the lingerie for their romantic, dream-like shoot of a bride getting ready on her wedding morning.

The shoot was featured in You and Your Wedding magazine and on bridal blog Rock My Wedding www.rockmywedding.co.uk
